I’m a movie enthusiast with a penchant for rating movies highly (which is why I tend to be a terrible judge for the Oscars).
Lucky for me, I fund this nasty habit by working at Cinemark. In all fairness, when your first job is for a movie theatre company at the age of 16 you would be a movie junkie too. 🍿
In my role at Cinemark, I develop eLearning courses, job aids, and videos. While my target audience is generally our theatre-based Team Members, I often find myself working on projects for our corporate-based team as well. Due to the proprietary nature of the content, I currently do not have any samples (yet!) available.
When it comes to learning development, I'm still a learner myself! I'm self-taught with the Articulate 360 suite and with every project I implement a new feature or style.
As a millenial, I grew up in the age of Myspace. My love of webdesign and graphic creation can almost entirely be attributed to Myspace Tom and a bug that allowed a generation to completely customize their profile with custom CSS.
I took this passion and graduated from Midwestern State University with a degree in Mass Communication. It was during school that I developed my love for video creation.
Click the below items to check out some of the things I've created.
Graduating Mass Communication seniors at Midwestern State University were required to make a 15-minute documentary and show it to the public at the end of the semester. My group's documentary (Legacy: Remember, Honor, Serve) is about a WWII Airborne Demonstration Team in Frederick, Oklahoma.

This minimalistic design was made as a decoration for a wall at my house.
While making the other minimalistic graphics, I couldn't leave out the franchise that has been going strong for over 10 years now!
One of my favorite quotes from one of my absolute favorite movies. This is another piece for the "movie wall" at my house.
Although you may not be able to see it in detail here, the top lettering matches the portrait photo background and the bottom lettering has argyle print to match the sweaters these step brothers are wearing.
After exploring the world of kinetic typography on YouTube, I decided to try it myself with this famous scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
